Spot the difference!

Above: 1979 Golf GTI (series 1)

Below: 1982 Golf GTI (series 2)

Three years makes a world of difference between the series 1 and series 2 versions of the Mk1 Golf GTI. There are too many different items to list accurately but to the casual observer: the interior layout, seats / headrests are different, as are the alloy wheels, rear tail lights and the inclusion of windscreen pillar covers, rear seatbelts and remote driver's door mirror (1982 model).
