1979 Golf GTI


30 years old: August 1979 - August 2009

HMJ761V is a rare four-speed gearbox version of the Mk1 Golf GTI. This low mileage vehicle was purchased (for preservation) from its third owner, living near London, in June 1995. A comprehensive restoration was undertaken in Birmingham and was competed in February 1996.

Registered as SORN, this 1979 GTI is no longer in daily use.
