1979 Golf GTI

Now with interior retrim (January, 2012)

HMJ761V is a rare four-speed gearbox version of the Mk1 Golf GTI. This low mileage vehicle was purchased (for preservation) from its third owner, living near London, in June 1995. A comprehensive restoration was undertaken in Birmingham and was completed in February 1996.

In January 2012, the front and rear seats were re-upholstered in the seat material for the early GTI - and trimmed in black leather.

Registered as SORN, this 1979 GTI is no longer in daily use.
