1979 Golf GTI

HMJ761V is a rare four-speed gearbox version of the Mk1 Golf GTI. This low mileage vehicle was purchased from its third owner, living near London, in the Summer of 1995 when still in daily use. Despite being in excellent mechanical condition when bought, a comprehensive and costly restoration was undertaken in Birmingham and was competed in February, 1996.
